Aamir Khan’s written post about the Central Government’s ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’, PM Modi gave the comment

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan always has his opinion about the issues related to the society. These days, there are reports of water shortage from the corner of the country. Due to the problem of increasing water shortage, the Modi government started the ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’. This campaign was praised not only by common people but also by special people. Recently, Aamir Khan, one of the PM Modi’s campaign, praised a post. This post has been in discussion.

Aamir Khan tweeted: “The initiative taken by you to make the water a fundamental and primary issue is a very important step. Our full support is with you. After this post of Aamir Khan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded. PM Modi wrote: “To save water and make people aware about it, this point of Aamir Khan is right.”

PM Modi raised the issue of rising water crisis in the country on June 30 in the ‘Mana Ki Baat’ program. He said that we get only eight percent of the rain water to accumulate. If the water storage capacity is increased, it can be tackled by the water crisis. PM Modi also appealed to the people of the country to create an agitation like saving the water for cleanliness campaign. This ‘water conservation’ of PM Modi is being appreciated.

In order to deal with the water crisis, the Central Government has already installed ‘Water Power Ministry’ and has added it to its prominence. By the year 2024, the Central Government has also set a major goal for the ‘tap water’ in all the houses of the country. Actually, water crisis in Delhi is a serious issue. Water is supplied by the Delhi Jal Board to nearly 81 percent of the population, while 19 percent of the population is still out of the water supply.

Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal government has also claimed to take several concrete steps for the availability of water in the capital. The Kejriwal government claims that after its arrival the water availability in the capital is improved. The government has recently installed a new water treatment plant in Chandraval area at a cost of Rs 599 crore, which would be sufficient to provide water for about 24 lakh people. This plant will start working after about three years.
