Mahendra Singh Dhoni is quintessentially a modest man and no wonder he has politely declined to inaugurate the pavilion named after him at the JSCA Stadium, ahead of India’s third ODI against Australia.
All of us know that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is rich in simple personality and that is why he refused politely from inaugurating the pavilion kept in his name at the JSCA Stadium before the third ODI against Australia.
Like the Virender Sehwag gate in the Sunil Gavaskar stand and Firoz Shah Kotla at the Wankhede Stadium, the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) will now have Mahendra Singh Dhoni pavilion.
Dhoni, Fans of Ranchi’s Prince felicitated home
JSCA Secretary Devashish Chakraborty told PTI, “Last year, it was decided to name the North Block in the name of Dhoni.” Dhoni, however, was not ready to inaugurate it.
Chakraborty said, “We urged Dhoni, but he said, ‘what grandfather should inaugurate in his own house.’ He is still as humble as before.
Match against Australia Dhoni may have a final international match in his hometown, and the JSCA top official said that he has not made any special plans for this.
