The IPL 2019 debut is being held on Saturday. Chennai Super Kings, led by Dhoni and Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore will face face-to-face in the opening match in Chennai. The most expensive cricket league is seen in every corner of the world. But this time this tournament will not be broadcast in Pakistan.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Ahmed of Pakistan have given important information. Chaudhary has said that India did not broadcast Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches last month, so this time IPL will not be shown in Pakistan too.
Fawad Ahmed said these things to a TV channel from Pakistan. Fawad Ahmed Chaudhary told a Pakistani news channel: “During the PSL, the way Indian companies and the Indian government have treated Pakistan cricket, then we can not afford that the IPL be broadcast in Pakistan.”
Indeed, after the terrorist attacks in Pulwama on February 14, IMG Reliance and D-Sports stopped broadcasting of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in India. Later, the Pakistan Cricket Board had to find another broadcaster.
Let us know that the last four seasons of the Pakistan Super League were closed between February 14 and March 17.
